Netflix Orders Fourth Season of 'Fuller House'

January 30, 2018

"Have Mercy!"

The Tanner and Fuller families will return to your streaming devices once again this year. Yes, Netflix has renewed Fuller House for a fourth season.

The show's executive producer, Jeff Franklin, confirmed the news on Instagram:

Fuller House is back for Season 4! Thanks to all our fans and Netflix for a great keeping sweet ride going - 13 news eps in 2018!!

Netflix's 13 episode order is down from last season's 18 episodes that were made available. Those 18 episodes were released those episodes in two parts late last year.

A release date has not been announced yet. Franklin's post said "13 new eps in 2018," but it's not even clear when they'll begin filming.

It is also pretty hard to say how many viewers are tuning into the reboot because Netflix doesn't release viewership data. Nielsen, however, has reported that the season 3 premiere drew 4.6 million viewers in the United States last SeptemberFuller House also has a huge following across the globe. The original series has been in syndication across the globe for years. So the show has a big base of fans overseas.

Of course, the good family fun is great for binging. Fuller House is the streaming giant's second most "binge raced" show. "Bing racing" is the term used to describe a viewer who watches an entire season of a show within 24 hours of its release.

Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner) celebrated the show's renewal on Instagram this week:

Well... it’s official... season 4 of @fullerhouse has been announced!! Can’t wait to get back to work with these lovely ladies @candacecbure @andreabarber and the rest of the FH family ASAP!! #fullerhouse #shewolfpack

Don't worry! The gang will all be there (even Uncle Jesse, Danny, Aunt Becky, and Joey). Deadline is reporting that all of the show's cast will be back for the fourth season.
