Dancing in the Street
On Saturday May 30, Alyssa's Angels, Federation of Social Workers, River Street Grill and Pub and Pulse Marketing Group present Dancing in the Street. Proceeds from the event will benefit Alyssa’s Angels and the work they do to aid children in the Rochester area. The dinner this year will feature guest speaker, Ed Smart, father of Elizabeth Smart who was abducted and recovered in 2002 after 9 months of captivity. Smart is President of the Surviving Parents Coalition and a child safety advocate focusing on protecting children from abduction, bullying, and sexual assault. The abduction of his daughter Elizabeth motivated him to become an outspoken advocate for change in the safety of our children and families.
